Hyundai Grandeur Gen. 1
With a completely atypical name appeared 1986 a notchback sedan of Hyundai on the market. The basis for technology and design was the Mitsubishi Debonair. The model Grandeur would have fit into the country rather with Eiffel Tower and baguette, but on closer inspection has been a smart move for the South Koreans. Because Grandeur means as much as size, generosity and dignity. And of the Hyundai Grandeur offered plenty of chrome jewellery, at least externally. Under the hood initially worked a four-cylinder with up to 170 hp, later even a 3-litre V6 with a whopping 197 hp.
